Samsung Galaxy series and Apple’s iPhone both are the most selling Smartphone’s. The previous version of both the gadgets, that were Samsung Galaxy S2 and Apple iPhone 4 , were most selling Smartphone’s and still selling like flying bird. When we compare the Smartphone’s to any other Smartphone currently present in the market, then no one even look near to them. Samsung Galaxy S3 and iPhone 5 are upcoming Smartphone’s of both the series and lots of rumours about them is rolling over the internet. They both will be tough competitors of each other. In this post I am going to compare the two on the basis of rumoured specifications. So let’s have a brief look at the Samsung Galaxy S 3 and iPhone 5 features :
Display
iPhone 5 is expected to have 3.5/4 inch is the screen. Rubberized Bezel Body and Teardrop design will be the part of it. The resolution of iPhone 5 is expected as 1280 x 720 pixels and pixel density is 367ppi.
Galaxy S3 will feature 4.65 inches Super AMOLED screen. 1280×720-pixels resolution and pixel density of 319 ppi is expected in Galaxy S3.
Processor
A6 Quad core processor is rumoured in the upcoming iPhone/ The A6 Quad Core processor will feature the super fast speed of 1.2 to 1.5 GHz. The RAM is expected to 1GB or even more.
Quad-core ARM A9-based Exynos 4212 chipset, is the processor expected to enrich the Galaxy S3. The processor will be clocked at the amazing speed of 1.8 GHz and RAM will be 2 GB.
The experts are confident that Apple will launch its new OS, the iOS 6 with the iPhone 5. The previous OS from the Apple, 5.1 was the modified form of 5, but the iOS 6 will include some new and useful features.
Nothing new for Galaxy series here,as the Galaxy S3 will be based on ICS. But the rumours are there that two optional launchers will be there in S3, Ice Cream Sandwich with TouchWiz and other vanilla ICS.
4G LTE
iPad 3 had launched with the 4G LTE support so the possibility is that the same feature will be there in iPhone 5.
Same is expected in Samsung Galaxy S3.
Camera
The rumors are there that Apple has invented 3D camera and will be there in iPhone 5. This rumoured information is coming from Patently Apple. Best imaging and clarity will be there in both the images and videos as well.
Samsung is hoped to make the Galaxy S3 with 12 Megapixels rear view camera and 2 MP front camera.
Battery
Apple’s upcoming iPhone 5 will come up with lots of powerful features and HD display. So to enjoy all these features good battery backup is required. So we can hope that the iPhone 5 will pack a better battery, at least better than the iPhone 4S.
2250 mAh battery is expected in Samsung Galaxy S3 which will ensure long battery backup.

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
